How Does It Work?

Each student pledges to read 30+ minutes a day, tracking all of their minutes in a Reading Log. During this time, students and families collect donations from the community to support their eforts. No donation is too small. Every dollar counts! Donate now.

Why Do We Do It?

The Read-a-Thon is one of Glenview’s two fundraising events. In addition to inspiring our students to read more and practice their math and writing skills in their reading logs, we hope to raise $100,000 for essential literacy programs such as our supplemental reading program K-3, Garden and PE teachers, mental health interns, classroom supplies, field trip funds, and more.
