Featuring: Boy in the Bubble, Brand New Heartache, and Supervague

Boy in the Bubble (Josh Seidenfeld, Glenview Dad)

After a few years of hibernation, Oakland’s Boy in the Bubble is back. The band “plays an arresting game of musical hopscotch” (Chronicle), drawing on rock-and-roll storyteller influences from David Bowie to Johnny Cash.

Brand New Heartache (Eleese and Mathew Meschery, Glenview Mom and Dad)

This Oakland-based husband and wife duo, Brand New Heartache, aims to put another tear in your beer with country-inspired power pop songs about love and loss, but mostly loss.

Supervague (Greg Kaleva, Glenview Dad)

Explicitly big sound from San Francisco-based quartet. Might be rock. Might be roll. Long-time band mates bring over a decade of collaboration with hard, edgy melodies and rich vocal harmonies.
