We are very excited to announce Glenview’s Picnic in the Park. Join other Glenview families at Dimond Park on Friday evenings, every other week, starting on Friday, April 26, from 5pm to 8:30pm. Our second major fundraiser for the year, the 22nd annual Read-a-Thon, launched on Monday, February 4. Your student will bring home a Read-a-thon packet that includes information about the fundraiser and your student's reading log. Each student is expected to read for 30 minutes a day and ask friends, family, neighbors for donations for reading! It's a fun fundraiser with cool prizes! On November 5, 2018, OUSD informed the Glenview community that it has made a decision regarding the Glenview move-back date to its new campus in the Glenview neighborhood. Students will return to the new campus in August 2020. OUSD regrets that it was previously communicated to families that the move would be midyear. Although construction is on schedule to be completed in December 2019, several factors led to the district's decision.
