Ms. Saville began working at Glenview in 2015. As the Reading Intervention Coordinator, she implements OUSD’s newest reading intervention program. She has a master's degree in elementary education from San Francisco State University. Ms. Saville formerly taught 4th and 5th grade in SFUSD and in Oakland charter schools and worked for Reading Partners, a non-profit literacy organization.
Ms. Saville enjoys working directly with small groups of students and helps teachers and aides to work with small groups of students who need a little extra support with reading. She loves watching them learn and grow as readers!
Ms. Saville's interests include spending time outside, cooking, and being with her family. And, her two children attended Glenview! Her favorite book is A House in the Woods by Inga Moore. She hopes to one day take her family on safari in Africa.
