Strike Update

Hello, Glenview families. First, we want to pass along a heartfelt thank you from Glenview teachers for all of your support and company on the picket lines. By Friday morning we had 0 out of 461 kids in attendance at Glenview. What an incredible show of solidarity for our teachers!

KEEP YOUR KIDS HOME ON MONDAY!
OEA and OUSD have both confirmed that Monday 2/25 will be another strike day. Though we hope that a fair agreement will be reached soon, we want to be prepared to support teachers and students for as long as necessary. And we can’t do it without your help! The most important way to support our teachers is to continue keeping your children home from school for the duration of the strike. OUSD has confirmed that there will be no punitive measures taken for unexcused absences during the strike.

HELP KEEP OUR SOLIDARITY SCHOOL OPEN
We are in particular need of volunteers at our Solidarity School this coming week. We had as many as 10 children at the school on Thursday and Friday. A free childcare option is essential if we want all families to be able to make the choice to not cross the picket line.
