About the PTA

The Glenview Elementary PTA is an active volunteer organization committed to supporting students and teachers by enriching the academics, promoting a safe and clean learning environment, and welcoming, respecting, and engaging all families in the school community. We value diversity and inclusion.

Over the years, Glenview Elementary PTA membership has grown in significant numbers, and parent involvement is outstanding. The PTA has raised money for the following: reading/math intervention, technology staff/equipment, library books, classroom supplies, teacher aides, school field trips, restorative justice staff, playground support and equipment, Halloween Carnival, Glenview’s Got Talent, Black History Month, Family Pride Day, music program, scholarships to after-school enrichment classes, Glenview Science Fair, and more!

All of this is possible because of parent volunteers and three major fundraisers: the Griffin Fund, the Read-a-Thon, and the Glenview Village Faire. Everyone is welcome at all PTA-sponsored activities.
