It’s the 22nd Annual Read-a-Thon!

Our second major fundraiser for the year, the 22nd annual Read-a-Thon, launched on Monday, February 4. Your student will bring home a Read-a-thon packet that includes information about the fundraiser and your student's reading log. Each student is expected to read for 30 minutes a day and ask friends, family, neighbors for donations for reading! It's a fun fundraiser with cool prizes! Good-bye Big Tent, Hello Konstella!

During the week of January 14, you will get an email invitation from your room parent to join Konstella, our new communication tool at Glenview. It will replace all the different tools we use, including BigTent, various spreadsheets, sign-up apps, and more. Konstella allows parents to message their entire class or individual parents, contains all the sign-up sheets created for your classroom or school-wide, and allows you to join committees and social groups. Students Will Return to New Campus in August 2020

On November 5, 2018, OUSD informed the Glenview community that it has made a decision regarding the Glenview move-back date to its new campus in the Glenview neighborhood. Students will return to the new campus in August 2020. OUSD regrets that it was previously communicated to families that the move would be midyear. Students will walk around the block with their class, and we welcome families to line the sidewalks and wave and cheer for the kids.
