The GLENVIEW FUN RUN is fun for everyone! There will be something for our toddlers, older kids, and adults looking to test their fitness, and for those who are down to catch-up with friends & classmates, snack, face-paint, and volunteer!
KIDS ONLY: at 8:30 AM, we will provide a fun warm-up and then begin the kids only races with a super short race option (about 250 meters) for our littlest runners, followed by a 1/2 mile race for those not quite ready for a full loop around Lake Merritt. All participants will receive special race ribbons!
KIDS & ADULTS: at 9:00 AM we will start both the 5K and 10K distances. The 5K is one lap around Lake Merritt and the 10K is two laps. There will be one mid-race water station. Awards will be presented at the end of the race.
REGISTRATION FEES. The kids only races are free or an optional donation. The 5K and 10K races have both regular entry fee amounts and tiered pricing options. Because this event is a fundraiser as well as a community event for Glenview, we will accept registration fees above or below the standard amounts.
