With funds seemingly decreasing each year from the district level, Glenview Elementary is more reliant on donations from the community than ever before. In fact, donations from parents, community members, and local businesses make up more than $200,000 a year spent on academic and enrichment programs at Glenview.
Where does the money go? It directly benefits the students by supporting the following programs in whole or in part: reading/math intervention, technology equipment, library books, classroom supplies, teacher aides, school field trips, restorative justice staff, playground support and equipment, PE education, the music program, the Halloween Carnival, Glenview’s Got Talent, Black History Month, Family Pride Day, scholarships to after-school enrichment classes, the Glenview Science Fair, and more!
All donations are tax-deductible (TAX ID 94-6172195).
