Marissa Arterberry has worked in Oakland schools since 2010 as an after-school instructor, substitute teacher, and arts educator. Marissa is excited to join the Glenview community, and she loves witnessing her students’ creativity in art class. Both of Marissa’s parents were teachers, and she’s proud to be following in their footsteps.
Marissa earned her B.A. in Fine Arts from San Francisco State University, and she enjoys painting, gardening, and spending time with her two children. Marissa’s favorite book is Sassafrass, Cypress, and Indigo by Ntozake Shange.
